Features The cylindric body is made in rubber and contains two flanged inserts in carbon steel. The vibration absorber has no metal part in contact with the fluid conveyed and don’t need additional basket, since the mating surfaces are rubber. Typical applications Use of vibration absorber on pipes allows to stop noise and vibrations create by pumps, compressors, valve, operating machines characteristic of connections to pump in heating or conditioning systems, water circulating pump and equipments for domestic installations, hospital, schools, swimming pools, etc. Compatible fluids: water and water vapour, sea water, weak acid and weak alkalis. Max working pressure: 10 bar Max working steady temperature: + Notes Vibration absorber must not be used to absorb axial or lateral movements, large amplitude vibrations , torsions or angular movements. Each rubber connector must always be installed between two fixed points correctly designed. Rubber connector must be installed at the supplied H length without any initial tension. Mating flanges must be parallel and correctly lined up. Appropriate bolts and washers must be used to connect mating flanges mating flanges making sure that the length of the bolts does not damage the joint.
